Assistant Professor

Responsibilities

The Assistant Professor will teach online courses in the Masters in Science Education Program, play a role in planning and implementing science labs for graduate school credit and CEU’s, participate in public speaking at conferences, contribute to web design and update of current courses, and participate in research

Requirements

Earned doctorate in a field directly related to science education from a regionally accredited university. Applicant must have knowledge of and be committed to young earth creation science and the Bible. A working knowledge of curriculum philosophies, instructional strategies and authentic assessment are necessary to be successful.

Desired

Training in science teaching methodologies, research experience resulting in peer-reviewed publications; technology skills including web development, a teaching certificate and three + years experience teaching 6-12 science.
